Basketball Recap: North Pole Comes Up Short

North Pole lost against Valdez back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The North Pole Patriots took a 53-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valdez Buccaneers. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Pole's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Valdez, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

North Pole and Lathrop will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. North Pole is facing Lathrop at the right time seeing as Lathrop is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Valdez, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Sitka at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
