After flying high against Perry County on Monday, Wayne County came back down to earth. The Wildcats took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Tigers on Friday. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Wayne County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drew Bevis, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Wayne County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

As of now, neither Wayne County nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
