Basketball Recap: Arlington Triumphs

Arlington won the last time they faced Mariner, and Leyton Martin did his part to make sure it happened again. The Arlington Eagles strolled past the Mariner Marauders with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 68-52 thanks in part to Martin, who almost dropped a triple-double on 22 points, 19 rebounds, and nine assists. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

Arlington's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Mariner, they dropped their record down to 8-9 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Arlington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 77-58 victory against Kamiak on the 24th. Mariner has also already played their next game, a 91-68 win against Cascade on the 24th.
