Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Ropes + How To Watch

Ropes entered their tilt with Borden County on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Coyotes.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Ropes took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-6, 25-11.

Ropes got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Marlee Molina out in front who had five aces. Those five aces gave Molina a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lila Forsythe, who had six kills and two aces.

They weren't the only good server: Ropes was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive games.

Ropes' win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Borden County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Ropes will be taking part in a tournament against Wink at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Borden County, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Smyer at 10:30 a.m. on September 6.
