Basketball Recap: Aaron Waddy Key Part of Team Effort in Clippers Win

Grafton won the last time they faced Warhill and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Grafton Clippers walked away with a 58-49 victory over the Warhill Lions. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Clippers.

Grafton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aaron Waddy led the charge by putting up 11 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Waddy a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Chase Santiago, who posted 14 points and five boards.

When it comes to explaining why Warhill lost, don't look at Hunter Brown. Despite the final result, he went 6-for-14 on his way to 19 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kristopher McDonough Ii, who scored 13 points.

The win got Grafton back to even at 10-10. As for Warhill, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.
