Basketball Recap: Bishop Foley Takes a Loss

Bishop Foley lost against Shrine Catholic on January 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bishop Foley Ventures came up short against the Shrine Catholic Knights, falling 52-32.

Bishop Foley's loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Shrine Catholic, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-6.

Bishop Foley and Shrine Catholic could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Bishop Foley will face off against Everest Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday down 613 places (712 vs. 99). Meanwhile, Shrine Catholic (ranked 384th) will meet Utica Ford (ranked 149th) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
