The Manteca Buffaloes will challenge the Linden Lions at 9:20 a.m. on Saturday. Manteca is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Manteca will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Friday, then bounced right back against Millennium on Friday. The Buffaloes never let the Falcons get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. While Manteca didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-18-3), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

They hit Millennium with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rogelio Leon (2), Mateo Esparza, and Kevin Mundo.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Linden faced off against Tokay on Friday. The Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. That's two games in a row now that Linden have lost by exactly two goals.

Manteca's victory bumped their record up to 4-0-1. As for Linden, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Manteca came up short against Linden in their previous matchup back in December of 2016, falling 2-0. Can the Buffaloes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
