Basketball Game Preview: Hopkinton Hillers vs. Westwood Wolverines

The Hopkinton Hillers will square off against the Westwood Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hopkinton comes in on three and Westwood on four.

If Hopkinton beats Westwood with 60 points on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. Hopkinton walked away with a 60-52 victory over Algonquin Regional on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Westwood hadn't done well against Norwood recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way two weeks ago. Westwood came out on top against Norwood by a score of 32-25. While the Wolverines didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Westwood's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Hopkinton, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Hopkinton came up short against Westwood in their previous meeting back in February, falling 39-35. Can Hopkinton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
