Recap: Whitehall Zephyrs vs. East Stroudsburg North Timberwolves
The Whitehall Zephyrs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 76-47 victory over East Stroudsburg North at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-24.
Several Timberwolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nate Wilder, who scored 16 points. Wilder has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Wayne King, who scored ten points.
Whitehall's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3. As for East Stroudsburg North, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitehall will challenge Nazareth Area at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Stroudsburg North, they will head out on the road to take on Mt. St. Michael Academy at 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
