Yucca Valley benefitted from Rohr in 17-4 victory
Ryder Rohr produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Yucca Valley to the win on Tuesday. Rohr was dynamite, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits.
Rohr's strong effort led Yucca Valley over Twentynine Palms and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Rohr has dominated as far as walks are concerned (he's averaged 1.1 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Twentynine Palms has only allowed six per game this season.
