Russell Christian Academy won the last time they faced Cornerstone Christian and things went their way on Friday too. The Warriors blew past the Eagles, posting a 57-26 win.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Russell Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andrew Cole, who picked up 83 receiving yards and two scores. Cole was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 50 yards. Bo Morphis was another key player, rushing for 32 yards and one touchdown.

Cornerstone Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Ruddick Williams and Colby Harrison. Williams picked up 120 receiving yards and one TD, while Harrison rushed for 82 yards and one score. Jess Nelson was in the mix too, providing the Eagles with two touchdowns.

Russell Christian Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cornerstone Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Russell Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 56-36 defeat against Columbus Christian Academy on the 12th. After both having extra time off, Cornerstone Christian and Tabernacle will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
