Basketball Recap: North Fond Du Lac Piles Up the Points Against Campbellsport

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Fond du Lac). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 78-46 victory over the Campbellsport Cougars. The Orioles haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

North Fond du Lac's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Allison Now led the charge by shooting 47% from the field en route to 23 points in addition to six assists and six steals. With that strong performance, Now is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Lily Roberts was another key player, going 7-for-14 on her way to 15 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks.

North Fond du Lac smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

North Fond du Lac's record is now 4-1. As for Campbellsport, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
