The biggest upset of the week belonged to Elida, who defeated 71st ranked Celina, 31-0.

The Bulldogs moved up to 227 from 261 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Western Buckeye. Elida climbed the ranks as a result of defeating the Bulldogs 31-0.

Kenton's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Grant Sherman threw for 431 and 6 touchdowns and Justin Sawmiller had 161 yards receiving. On the ground Angelo Lombardo chipped in 38 yards. Kollin Stollar helped Kenton's passing attack out by catching 8 balls for 111 yards.

Lombardo was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 38 yards on 4 carries as the Wildcats defeated Defiance. Slate Johansen also contributed to the rushing game with 11 yards on the ground.

Kenton's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wildcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sherman has thrown for 4,062 yards and 45 touchdowns this season, while Sawmiller has 105 catches for 1,648 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Wapakoneta takes on Shawnee. The Redskins are currently in second, while the Braves are in eighth.

Kenton added to the longest winning streak in Western Buckeye this week by beating the Bulldogs, 62-8. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.
