            Baseball Recap: Braddock Bulldogs vs. Coral Shores Hurricanes        
        
		
        
        
            The Braddock Bulldogs earned  a  6-3 win over the Coral Shores Hurricanes  on Monday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Bulldogs.

 Devin Lopez tossed a big game,   striking out six batters over  5.1 innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   nine  hits (and not a single walk). Those  six  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high.
 At the plate,  Andrew Sarmiento was a standout: he scored a  run while going 2-for-2.  Adam Hernandez was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
Braddock's record now sits at 17-5-1. As for Coral Shores, their loss  ended  a  six-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 16-2-1.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Braddock will welcome Sunset  at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Coral Shores, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Palmer Trinity  at 6:30  p.m. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Hurricanes have won nine straight at home, while the Falcons won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
