Soccer Recap: Jonesboro Comes Up Short

Jonesboro lost against Catholic back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hurricane came up short against the Rockets, falling 7-0. Considering the last time Jonesboro couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

This is the second loss in a row for Jonesboro and nudges their season record down to 4-9. As for Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Jonesboro is set to square off against their familiar foe Little Rock Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. Meanwhile, Catholic will face off against rival Conway at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
