Lindbergh scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They took a hard 44-26 fall against the Hazen Highlanders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 46-12 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hazen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Charlotte Thompson, who posted ten points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Thompson a new career-high in points. Avi Harris was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Lindbergh's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hazen, they moved to 1-5 with that win, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

Lindbergh will be playing in front of their home fans against Highline at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Hazen, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 73-39 loss against Mount Si on the 16th.
