 Springville extended their postseason success on Friday against Hunter. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Hunter Wolverines  a   9-0 shutout. Considering Springville has won 17 matches by more than five  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 The result came thanks to  Allie Fowler's shutout, as she gave up just three  hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Allyx Haveron, who  went 3-for-4 with a  home run and four  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kalia Sjoberg, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Springville has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 17 of their last 18 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 25-5 record  this season. As for Hunter,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 11-14.
 Springville will take on Olympus at 10:30  a.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the  matchup red-hot, with Olympus sitting on  14 straight  victories and Springville on five. Hunter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
