Thompson Valley dropped their record down to 11-12 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roosevelt Roughriders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Roughriders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-4 back in April.
Amari Richardson was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI. Beau Balliet was another key player, earning one run and two stolen bases.
As for Roosevelt, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games.
On Roosevelt's side, the team relied heavily on Kayden Bryant, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits Bryant has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Unruh, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
