Basketball Game Preview: Beach Channel Dolphins vs. Richmond Hill Lions

After both having extra time off, the Beach Channel Dolphins and the Richmond Hill Lions will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Beach Channel is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Epic South just ended the team's three-game winning streak two weeks ago. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Epic South an easy 74-49 win. While losing is never fun, the Dolphins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 330th, while Epic South are ranked 60th).

Meanwhile, Richmond Hill can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game last Thursday. They walked away with a 66-54 victory over Jamaica.

Beach Channel now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Richmond Hill, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.
