Basketball Recap: Moody Takes a Loss

Moody lost against Piedmont back in December of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Moody Blue Devils took a 56-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Piedmont Bulldogs.

Moody's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Piedmont, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Moody and Boaz will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Moody is facing Boaz at the right time seeing as Boaz is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Piedmont, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 90-52 victory against Shelby County on the 23rd.
