Volleyball Game Preview: Wray Eagles vs. Akron Rams

The Wray Eagles will challenge the Akron Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wray has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 23.

Wray lost 3-0 to Brush on Saturday.

While Wray was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Akron didn't have quite enough to beat Hi-Plains on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Akron wouldn't go down easily and took Hi-Plains into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14, 24-26, 25-27, 15-12.

Wray's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Akron, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.
