Ponder won the last time they faced Valley View and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Ponder had a senior duo take command as Taelynn Harrison had 14 digs and two assists and Makaylee Ruiz had 12 digs and six assists. Ruiz is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Ponder's record is now 23-11. As for Valley View, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-20.

Ponder has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Pilot Point on the 17th. As for Valley View, they will be playing at home against Whitesboro at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
