Basketball Game Preview: North Central Wolfpack vs. Deer Park Stags

The North Central Wolfpack and the Deer Park Stags will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 73-36, which was the final score in North Central's tilt against Pullman on Friday. The Wolfpack haven't had much luck with the Greyhounds recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Deer Park put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Clarkston as Deer Park made off with a 69-49 win. The Stags have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Deer Park's victory was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-0. As for North Central, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.

North Central was dealt a bruising 68-19 defeat at the hands of Deer Park in their previous matchup back in January. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point North Central was down 49-8.
