1A District 6's top pitcher this week was
Trenton's
Kyle Wiggins. He picked up two wins and 12 strikeouts.
Top honors in the league this week go to the Tigers, which finished with three wins overall, good for best in the league. Trenton beat
P.K. Yonge 11-1 and
Hilliard 7-2.
The Tigers' pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 16 hits and six walks to lead the league in both categories.
There were six hitters that batted over .400 in the league this week. The group was paced by Clif Bryant, who collected seven hits in 13 at bats for a .538 average.
