Basketball Recap: Westerville Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Chillicothe last Tuesday, Westerville Central came back down to earth. The Westerville Central Warhawks fell to the Lincoln Lions 47-43. The Warhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Westerville Central now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Lincoln, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3.

Westerville Central will head out on the road to face off against St. Francis DeSales at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lincoln, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dublin Coffman at 3:00 p.m. on December 30th. Dublin Coffman will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lincoln surely won't give up without a fight.
