Softball Recap: Lomira Wins Going Away Against North Fond Du Lac

Lomira barely beat North Fond du Lac the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Orioles on Tuesday. Considering the Lions have won four matchups by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lomira has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. Having lost for the first time this season, North Fond du Lac fell to 2-1.

Lomira wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-3 victory against Campbellsport on the 17th. As for North Fond du Lac, they have also already played their next match, a 12-0 defeat against Mayville on the 17th.
