Basketball Recap: Valley Falls Takes a Loss

Valley Falls played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy Ravens and fell 56-22. The Dragons have struggled against the Ravens recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Valley Falls' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lily Brown, who posted six points. Gracie Conner also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Valley Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.
