Volleyball Recap: Olathe South Takes a Loss

Olathe South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Blue Valley Northwest Huskies. The Falcons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Huskies earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-12.

Taylor Steele paced Olathe South's offense, picking up six kills. Steele got some help from Kinley Legleiter and her 11 assists.

Olathe South's defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Blue Valley Northwest, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-16.

Coincidentally, Olathe South and Blue Valley Northwest will both be playing Mill Valley the next time they take the court. The Huskies will head out to face the Jaguars at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
