Volleyball Recap: Mishicot Comes Up Short

After flying high against Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah on Thursday, Mishicot came back down to earth. The Indians came up short against the Sheboygan Christian Eagles on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the loss, Mishicot saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Cooper Brouchoud had 12 digs and two assists. Brouchoud is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 12 games she's played.

Mishicot's defeat dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Sheboygan Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-2.

Mishicot has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Oostburg on the 11th. As for Sheboygan Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against St. Mary Catholic on the 11th.
