Volleyball Recap: Cambridge Comes Up Short

Cambridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Morgan Raiders. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in October of 2015.

Cambridge took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-21, 21-25, 25-20, 15-10.

Cambridge's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Morgan, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 9-14.

Cambridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Morgan, after both having extra time off, they and Meadowbrook will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
