Baseball Recap: Higbee Tigers vs. Wellsville-Middletown Tigers

While Higbee's win against Wellsville-Middletown wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Higbee had just enough and edged out Wellsville-Middletown 10-9 on Friday. Considering Higbee's hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Corbin Imhoff made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.
