Softball Recap: Cincinnati Christian Comes Up Short

Cincinnati Christian fell victim to Williamsburg and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 14-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 on Saturday.

Cincinnati Christian now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Williamsburg, they pushed their record up to 5-0-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cincinnati Christian will challenge Cincinnati Country Day at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Williamsburg, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Williamsburg Wildcats take on Felicity-Franklin Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. This will be their first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
