Volleyball Recap: Katelyn Sullivan and Macy Davis Secure Win for Lexington + How To Watch

Lexington won the last time they faced Tanner and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Golden Bears blew past the Rattlers 3-0. The Golden Bears not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0).

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-9, 25-19.

Lexington was led to victory by Macy Davis and Katelyn Sullivan. Davis had eight aces and three digs, while Sullivan had seven digs and one assist. Those eight aces gave Davis a new career-high. Cooper Knox also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Lexington was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. They are 11-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Lexington's victory bumped their record up to 23-29. As for Tanner, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-19.

Lexington has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy on the 15th. Tanner does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
