Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boone). They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 61-23 win over the Lake Nona Lions. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-15.

Boone had a senior duo take command as Elina Del Rosario dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards and Lexi Winrow went 7 of 11 en route to 18 points. Del Rosario has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Naima Durandisse, who posted four points and 11 boards.

Boone's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Lake Nona, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.

Boone has already played their next contest, a 47-19 win against Evans on the 15th. Lake Nona has also already played their next game (against Trinity Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
