Basketball Recap: Williamsville East Takes a Loss

Williamsville East lost against Amherst Central back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Williamsville East Flames fell just short of the Amherst Central Tigers by a score of 62-60. While losing is never fun, the Flames can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 314th, while the Tigers are ranked 19th).

Williamsville East now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Amherst Central, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Williamsville East has already played their next contest (against Sweet Home), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Amherst Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 74-54 victory against Hamburg on the 15th.
