Albuquerque Academy has gone a perfect 10-0 against Bernalillo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Chargers will venture away from home to face off against the Spartans at 4:00 p.m. Albuquerque Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

Albuquerque Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over Del Norte. Considering the Chargers have won eight matchups by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Joseph Rounds was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Andrew Olson, who scored four runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3.

Albuquerque Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Meanwhile, Bernalillo came up short against Belen on Tuesday, falling 14-8. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Albuquerque Academy's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Bernalillo, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

Albuquerque Academy took their victory against Bernalillo in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 10-1 score. Will the Chargers repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
