Volleyball Game Preview: Arcadia Raiders vs. Mount Horeb Vikings

The Arcadia Raiders will be taking part in a tournament against the Mount Horeb Vikings at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.

On Tuesday, Arcadia didn't have quite enough to beat Westby and fell 3-2. While the Raiders didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Norsemen 25-13 in the first set.

Arcadia started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 20-25, 25-23, 25-20, 15-5.

Mount Horeb extended their home winning streak to 12 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Harper Henderickson. Everything went the Vikings' way against Fort Atkinson on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory thanks in part to Henderickson, who had six digs and two aces. She also put up an assist, which was her first of the season.

Mount Horeb never let Fort Atkinson on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 25-14.

Mount Horeb's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Arcadia, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.
