After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Riverside, Mauldin was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 59-44 victory over the Fountain Inn Fury. That 15 point margin sets a new team best for the Mavericks this season.

Mauldin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alverez Smith, who shot 60% from the field en route to 20 points along with six boards and three steals. That's the most steals Smith has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Wilbourne, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 13 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.

Mauldin was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Mauldin now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Fountain Inn, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Mauldin will welcome Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Mavericks will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Fountain Inn, they will take on Hillcrest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
