Basketball Recap: Abingdon/Avon Takes a Loss

Abingdon/Avon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 58-49 to the Eureka Hornets. If the Tornadoes were looking for revenge after losing 43-41 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Abingdon/Avon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Eureka, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Abingdon/Avon will face off against Bushnell-Prairie City at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Eureka, they are taking a road trip to square off against Ridgeview at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
