The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their one-run performance the contest before.

De-Niya Padgett and Yanelie Echevarria did most of the damage at the plate: Padgett went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Echevarria scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That triple was Padgett's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Cheyanne Gosselin, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
