Basketball Game Preview: Franklin Flyers vs. Harvard Cardinals

The Franklin Flyers will take on the Harvard Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.

Last Saturday, Franklin came up short against Giltner and fell 35-28. While the Flyers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hornets 6-0 in the first quarter.

Despite their loss, Franklin saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Eldon Haack, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. That's the most boards Haack has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Haack, who posted six points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Harvard took on Palmer on Tuesday. Harvard was dealt a 64-25 defeat at the hands of Palmer. The Cardinals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-15.

Franklin's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Harvard, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-2.
