Coronado Came Up Big in Pleasanton's 41-21 Loss

Starting off the list is Pleasanton's Erik Coronado, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Coronado rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 55 yards.

Pleasanton has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. Coronado and Pleasanton will head out to square off against Uvalde at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Davenport Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Daniel Soukup Ii

Daniel Soukup Ii was instrumental in extending Davenport's winning streak to six on Friday. Soukup Ii was dynamite, throwing for 174 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 44 yards and a touchdown.

Soukup Ii might have his next game, a home matchup with Canyon Lake, circled on his calendar. Soukup Ii picked up 66 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground the last time he and the duked it out back in October of 2023.

Fredericksburg Gets a Boost from Cantu in 66-0 Victory

Aaron Cantu was a major factor in Fredericksburg's win over John F. Kennedy on Friday. Cantu did his part (and then some), rushing for 94 yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'. Davenport picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Barrett Fallon. Fallon turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 92 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 53 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Brooks Immel Makes It Two for Fredericksburg

Another Fredericksburg player making an appearance on this list is Brooks Immel. He threw for 144 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also punched in a rushing score.
