Softball Recap: Tulare Western Takes a Loss

Tulare Western suffered their closest defeat since March 9, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Selma Bears by a score of 6-4. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Tulare Western saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Meiah Ledesma, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Tulare Western's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Selma, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Tulare Western and Selma will both be playing Mt. Whitney the next time they take the field. Tulare Western will head out to face Mt. Whitney at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, while Selma will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
