Basketball Recap: Hunter-Tannersville Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Hunter-Tannersville had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past the Sharon Springs Central Spartans with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 51-37. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2019.

Hunter-Tannersville's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Sharon Springs Central, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Stamford Central the next time they take the court. Hunter-Tannersville will host Stamford Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while Sharon Springs Central will head out to face them at 5:30 a.m. on February 4th.
