Baseball Recap: Cohasset Takes a Loss

Cohasset's last matchup with Norwell could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Monday. The Skippers lost 13-1 to the Clippers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Skippers have suffered against the Clippers since May 22, 2019.

Cohasset has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Norwell, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Cohasset will take on Sandwich at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Skippers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Norwell, they will head out on the road to square off against East Bridgewater at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
