Volleyball Recap: Harrison Has No Trouble Against Ursuline

Harrison won the last time they faced Ursuline and things went their way on Friday too. The Huskies blew past the Koalas 3-0.

Harrison never let Ursuline on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22, 25-16.

MIA MAGNOTTA had a dynamite game, getting 24 digs. Those 24 digs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was OLIVIA MONACO, who had nine digs and nine assists.

Despite the loss, Ursuline still got an impressive performance from Kate Merola, who had 19 digs and one assist. Merola is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last six games she's played. Arianna Vescio also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Harrison is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for Ursuline, with the loss, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 6-3.

Harrison has already played their next match (against Yonkers), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ursuline also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Clarkstown South.
