Basketball Preview: Birch Run Panthers vs. Caro Tigers
Birch Run and Caro are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Birch Run Panthers will be defending their home-court for the first time this season they go up against the Caro Tigers at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Birch Run is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They lost 50-24 to Swan Valley on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Caro duked it out withUbly on Tuesday. Caro snuck past Ubly with a 65-60 victory.
Connor McGarry had an outrageously good game as he went 9 for 15 en route to 27 points plus six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Langmaid, who scored seven points plus seven assists and six rebounds.
Birch Run didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Caro when the teams last played back in March of 2023, but they still walked away with a 76-70 win. Does Birch Run have another victory up their sleeve, or will Caro turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
