Basketball Recap: Kennett Takes a Loss

Kennett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the Sikeston Bulldogs, falling 95-52. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 361st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 12th).

Kennett's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Sikeston, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.

Kennett has already played their next matchup (against Portageville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sikeston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-44 victory against Gateway Legacy Christian Academy on the 25th.
