Basketball Game Preview: Winnebago Indians vs. Kewanee Boilermakers

Having just played yesterday, the Winnebago Indians will get right back to it and host the Kewanee Boilermakers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Winnebago is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Winnebago is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since January 27, 2024 on Friday. They were dealt a 65-35 defeat at the hands of Dakota. The contest marked Winnebago's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Kewanee came up short against Forreston on Monday and fell 61-50.

Kewanee's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Winnebago, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Winnebago strolled past Kewanee in their previous meeting back in March of 2016 by a score of 53-36. Will Winnebago repeat their success, or does Kewanee have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
