Soccer Recap: Buckingham Comes Up Short

Buckingham managed to keep up with Nottoway until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Knights came up short against the Cougars, falling 6-0. The loss leaves Buckingham still looking for their first win of the season.

Buckingham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Nottoway, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Buckingham is set to face off against their familiar foe Prince Edward County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Nottoway will challenge rival Lunenburg Central at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th.
